Description
My name is Matilda B, and I am an experienced home carer. With a passion for helping others and a friendly nature, I have dedicated my career to providing top-quality care and companionship to those in need. As a female carer with a range of skills and experience, I am adept at providing support for various conditions, including Mild Cognitive Impairment, Bedbound individuals, Parkinson's Disease, Anxiety, and Depression.
Although I am unable to drive and do not have a car, I am highly skilled in providing assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, and assistance with dressing. I am also trained in catheter care and believe in offering companionship to help individuals maintain their independence.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy a range of hobbies such as walking, cooking and baking, socializing, watching TV, and listening to music. These interests allow me to connect with individuals on a personal level and add an extra dimension to the care I provide.
Additionally, I have a fondness for pets and am comfortable caring for cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds. I believe that companionship can extend beyond human relationships and that animals can play a vital role in enhancing the wellbeing of those I care for.
Ultimately, my motivation for being a carer stems from my desire to make a difference in people's lives and help them lead independent lives. I am empathetic, compassionate, and take great pride in the care I provide. If you are seeking a carer who is dedicated, friendly, and skilled in providing top-quality care, I would be delighted to discuss how I can support you or your loved ones.
